what we are looking for from particpants

A 3-10 minute dance performance (any style, but please no tap shoes or heels, and must be appropriate for an all ages show)

Positive engagement and interaction with all collaborating performers

A Powerful Community Engagement Experience with other Portland-area Dance Artists!
We are looking for 4 to 6 choreographers to present dance works at our performances on November 21st & 22nd 2026 at Echo Theater.
Just to clarify - choreographers will set works on their own dancers, they will not be coming in to set work on our dancers. This is also a great opportunity for the multitude of other small companies in the Portland area to bring new or repertoire work to a collaborative stage and diversified audience!
All are welcome to apply. The pieces presented in the application process do not need to be completed works at this time, but should be stage-ready by mid November.
It is FREE to apply but we are asking for a $100 commitment deposit from each participating act.
This deposit is repayed when the show is over and you have sold at least 10 tickets.
(We have an easy system to track this using your name as a "coupon code" at ticket check out)
