DANCE WITH PDC!
Join the fun and be a dancer with us! We are still holding open rehearsals through the end of October so that you can join us for warmup and learn choreography.
At this time, in preparation for our show in November, we will not be adding any more performing members for this season, but you are more than welcome to come to enjoy a free community dance opportunity.
We will release information about open dance calls this winter and if you would like to keep in touch about that, please use the form below to let us know!

Fridays 1:00-2:00pm

Here’s some possibly hepful FAQ to give you an idea of what to expect…
What style of dancing is this?
The best description I have is contemporary dance but dont let that narrow it down too much (if you have more experience in jazz, ballet, modern, hip hop, ethnic forms, or other things I may not have heard of, that’s great too!)
What will we do at rehearsal?
Dance together! Yay! About half the time will be spent in warm-up slash company class and then we’ll move on to some play with movement and choreography and ideas collective members want to play with. We’ll chat a bit too about direction and goals
How much dance experience are you looking for?
I would recommend folks come with at least a year’s formal dance training of some kind. Very little dance experience but a willingness to play and learn could work out great. Years of experience is also great.
What are you looking for in a dancer for the collective?
Good energy and playfulness. A decent sense of body awareness and a passion for movement. If you have experience or a desire to play with choreography and help run the collective, also great!
